Handmade Silver & Beach Stone Dangly Earrings

£32.00

An unusual and made by hand pair of dangly orange/grey patterned beach stones earrings .   The small beach stones/brick that I have used to create these earrings were found when I was collecting sea glass in Seaham, and they really caught my eye. Each piece of stone was drilled by hand to form a ‘bead’ which was threaded onto a silver bead wire, and separated by a tiny sterling silver round bead.  The dangly stacks are hung from a sterling silver hook.

Details:  Total earring drop measures approx 4.5cm; Bead size ranges from 0.8-1.5 cm wide x 0.3-0.8cm deep (approx); Small silver beads sterling silver; Earring hooks and wire sterling silver.

No two pieces of sea glass are alike, and no two leaves are exactly the same, so this would be a truly original and unique christmas, birthday or special occasion gift.

The earrings will arrive wrapped in pale green tissue paper fastened with linen thread, and in a kraft pillow-box.  A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also included. Additional gift wrap options are available, see below.

POSTAGE INCLUDED: The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24.

See Description tab for more details and information.

These unusual earrings are made from small orange and grey beach stones/brick that I have drilled and ‘stacked’ to create small dangly pillars.  I found these stones in amongst some of the sea glass I was collecting whilst at Seaham, in County Durham, and they really caught my eye, as I think they’re really pretty.  The orange and grey colour and patterning makes for some lovely stone beads and a really unusual pair of earrings.  Each piece of stone was drilled to form a ‘bead’ which was threaded onto a silver bead wire, and separated by a tiny sterling silver round bead.

Details:

  • Total earring drop measures approx 4.5cm
  • Bead size varies from 0.8-1.5 cm wide x 0.3-0.8cm deep (approx)
  • Small silver beads sterling silver
  • Earring hooks and wire sterling silver

This is the only jewellery I have made using these stones (so far anyway), so very much one of a kind, and even if I find more stones to make more, they won’t ever be the same as these: the wear and tear on pebbles and stones will be different for each individual stone, just as each piece of sea glass is different, and just as each leaf on a tree is slightly different.  That’s the beauty of nature and that’s the beauty of handmade!

All my items will arrive wrapped in pale green recycled tissue paper fastened with linen thread, and in a recycled kraft pillow-box.  A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also included. Additional gift wrap options are available.

The pillow box is sent in a recycled cardboard box filled with eco-friendly, responsibly sourced UK wood wool.

The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 which is included.  Other delivery methods are available on request.

COMMISSIONS:  You may also like to know that I love taking special requests and commissions – perhaps to celebrate a special birthday or event, or maybe just to turn a favourite ‘something’ you have collected into a piece of jewellery you can wear.   So if you’d like to talk about creating something truly unique and bespoke for you or someone in your life please do get in touch, I’d love to help. Previous commissions have included turning a customer’s own sea-glass into a necklace, handcrafting a Bramble flower for a 21st birthday, recreating a dangly Catkin for a favourite sister or some coffee bean earrings for a Barista.   It’s also worth knowing that commissions don’t necessarily cost more than items in the shop – it depends what you have in mind – so it’s always worth a no-strings chat.

Returns and Refunds

All of my pieces are handmade with a lot of love and I take great pride in everything I make, and in seeing a smile on your face! I am a strong believer in hand-made meaning quality and also that because each piece is individually made by hand there sometimes may be irregularities on the surface reflecting the organic nature of the materials I work with , which creates truly one of a kind pieces.

I also know that occasionally things might go awry, and if you find that you have a problem with your item please contact me straight away so we can discuss how best to resolve the situation.
