Women’s black, skeleton, Halloween party bag with silver chain.
This is a handmade, quilted, black shoulder bag with a pink satin lining and a chunky silver colour chain.
It measures approximately 10 inches wide by 8 inches tall and 2.5 inches deep at the base. The chain is 51 inches in length. It can be worn as a long cross body chain or doubled up to make it shoulder length – see photograph.
The bag is black in colour with silver dancing skeletons and is quilted on the sewing machine with other scrap fabrics to give it a flexible, ‘slouchy’ structure. It’s fully lined in a contrasting pink polyester satin fabric.

The bag is made from the fabric scraps leftover from a Halloween costume I made for myself a few years back. (I make my own clothes and my goal is a 100% handmade wardrobe. I’m currently about 60% there! As a result I have lots of fabric scraps leftover and pieces of fabric which are kindly given to me but perhaps not suitable for dressmaking. Instead of waste them I use them to make bags.)
