This pair of hand crafted silver filigree drop earrings have the addition of two pretty teardrop freshwater pearls with a hint of pale rose. They are very flattering and sparkle beautifully when worn.
As a silversmith this is my first venture into the art of silver filigree jewellery. The technique has a fascinating history with the earliest pieces coming from Mesopotamia and dating back to 3000BC. Filigree items were worn by ancient Greeks and Romans, and the techniques handed down over the centuries to the filigree master craftsmen in the world today.
It is a very detailed and time consuming process, producing such delicate and beautiful results. Tiny wires of silver and/or gold are twisted, flattened and formed into traditional shapes which come together to make some lovely jewellery and ornamentation. Here I am utilising the style to create some contemporary earrings, which many of you know are my addiction!
These earrings are completely handmade from sterling silver, including the twisted fine filigree wires. I am loving the process of learning these techniques and creating a completely new range of earrings.

Shipping Policy
Each pair of these earrings is unique and precious and I want to be certain they arrive safely. Therefore each purchase will be gift-boxed and sent via Royal Mail “Signed For” at a flat rate of £5. I will send you tracking information for your item. There is no charge for additional items.
Refund Policy
After having spent time and care creating these earrings I really hope that you love them. If you have any issues at all with your purchase please do contact me and I will do my very best to assist. It is very important to me that you are happy with your purchase and love every pair as much as I do!
If you have any issue we cannot resolve please advise me within 14 days of receiving the item, and then return the item to me within the following 14 days.
For hygiene reasons earrings should be returned unworn. They must be in original condition with gift box packaging and in ‘re-saleable” condition. It is recommended that you return them by Royal Mail “Signed For” post as I cannot be responsible for items lost in the post.
As soon as the item is received a refund will be issued. Postage cannot be refunded unless an item is faulty.
