Handcrafted Eco-conscious Fine Silver Botanical Herb Drop Earrings
£50.00
These dainty fine silver earrings have been entirely made by had using silver metal clay and the flower umbrella and sections of a leaf from a herb called Sweet Cicily, which grows wild in our hedgerows and can also be grown as a herb at home (like this one was). The leaf and flower were gently pressed into the clay to create an imprint of the original, which has been gently aged post firing to highlight the texture and detail. The back of the earring is hammered to give some added texture and shine.
These are a one-off creation perfect for nature lovers, plant lovers, botanists and gardeners alike!
Dimensions; Fine silver discs measure 1.3cm in diameter x 1mm depth; Total drop from top of hook approx. 3.2cm; Hook – Sterling Silver.
The earrings will arrive wrapped in pale green tissue paper fastened with linen thread, and in a kraft pillow-box. A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also included. Additional gift wrap options are available, see below.
POSTAGE INCLUDED: The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24.

This cute little pair of delicate dangly silver disc earrings have a gentle imprint of a wild herb called Sweet Cicily, which grows wild in our hedgerows and can also be grown as a herb at home (like this one was).

Sweet Cicily is a member of the wild carrot family, with delicate white umbrella flower heads and frondy velvety leaves that have a subtle and sweet aniseed flavour, so is great for adding flavour to salads, soups and can add some sugar free sweetness to deserts.
A small part of the flower umbrella and bits of a leaf were used to create the imprint in these earrings, perfect for wild flower and herb lovers alike.
The imprint has been gently aged to create some contrast and the back of the earring is hammered to give some added sparkle!
This leaf and flower were taken from a plant growing in my garden in the South Downs in Hampshire.
All of the imprint jewellery that I make, including these earrings, are similar in design, yet totally unique because no two plants, leaves or imprints are ever the same. Each ‘pair’ is therefore not an exact match.
As with all my botanical designs, these earrings were made as part of a small batch – and in this case I made only one pair of earrings and one necklace (also for sale in the shop). So they are truly one of a kind.
The imprinted discs are hung from sterling silver hooks.
The end result is a pair of solid yet very lightweight earrings, one a kind, hugged by nature, hand crafted with love and ready to wear with pretty much anything.
All my items will arrive wrapped in pale green recycled tissue paper fastened with linen thread, and in a recycled kraft pillow-box. A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also included. Additional gift wrap options are available.
The pillow box is sent in a recycled cardboard box filled with eco-friendly, responsibly sourced UK wood wool.
The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 which is included. Other delivery methods are available on request.
COMMISSIONS: You may also like to know that I love taking special requests and commissions – perhaps to celebrate a special birthday or event, or maybe just to turn a favourite ‘something’ you have collected into a piece of jewellery you can wear. So if you’d like to talk about creating something truly unique and bespoke for you or someone in your life please do get in touch, I’d love to help. Previous commissions have included turning a customer’s own sea-glass into a necklace, handcrafting a Bramble flower for a 21st birthday, recreating a dangly Catkin for a favourite sister or some coffee bean earrings for a Barista. It’s also worth knowing that commissions don’t necessarily cost more than items in the shop – it depends what you have in mind – so it’s always worth a no-strings chat.

All of my pieces are handmade with a lot of love and I take great pride in everything I make, and in seeing a smile on your face! I am a strong believer in hand-made meaning quality and also that because each piece is individually made by hand there sometimes may be irregularities on the surface reflecting the organic nature of the materials I work with , which creates truly one of a kind pieces.
I also know that occasionally things might go awry, and if you find that you have a problem with your item please contact me straight away so we can discuss how best to resolve the situation.
