Handmade Silver Wild Rose Leaf and Green Sea Glass Necklace
£70.00
This solid fine silver dainty replica of a wild rose leaf has been made by hand using silver clay paste layer-painted onto a real wild rose leaf picked by me from the hedgerows near my home in the South Downs in Hampshire. To accompany the leaf and to add a dash of colour, a small but perfectly formed piece of green sea glass matching the colour of the original leaf was carefully selected from my collection (all of my pieces are found by me, or my family, on trips to our local beaches) , wrapped in fine silver wire, and both are hung together on a Sterling Silver chain. The result is a one of a kind, delicate necklace that will connect you to nature and the beautiful wild rose with it’s heart shaped petals, every time you wear it. A great treat for you or gift for the nature nerd/plant lover in your life.
Details: Fine silver (99.9% pure) Rose Leaf measures 4cm x ; Sterling Silver Chain is 45cm (18 inches) in length including clasp.
No two pieces of sea glass are alike, and no two leaves are exactly the same, so this would be a truly original and unique christmas, birthday or special occasion gift.
The necklace will arrive wrapped in pale green tissue paper fastened with linen thread, in a Hugged by Nature kraft box with a recycled insert. A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also popped in the box, which is then tied with thread and a gift tag added.
POSTAGE INCLUDED: The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Because each individual leaf in nature is different, so to is each of the leaves in this ‘pair’. Likewise, each piece of sea-glass has it’s own unique size and shape, so these are a similar, but not identical ‘pair’ of sea glass nuggets! These particular pieces came from Seaham, last time I was up there visiting my sister and her family.
The silver leaves I use for my designs are made in very small batches, often to order, so there is minimal impact on the plant or other wild users of the plant! Which also means, of course, that the finished piece is truly one of a kind – just like each individual leaf in nature!
All my items will arrive wrapped in pale green recycled tissue paper fastened with linen thread, and in a recycled kraft pillow-box. A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also included. Additional gift wrap options are available.
The pillow box is sent in a recycled cardboard box filled with eco-friendly, responsibly sourced UK wood wool.
The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 which is included. Other delivery methods are available on request.
COMMISSIONS: You may also like to know that I love taking special requests and commissions – perhaps to celebrate a special birthday or event, or maybe just to turn a favourite ‘something’ you have collected into a piece of jewellery you can wear. So if you’d like to talk about creating something truly unique and bespoke for you or someone in your life please do get in touch, I’d love to help. Previous commissions have included turning a customer’s own sea-glass into a necklace, handcrafting a Bramble flower for a 21st birthday, recreating a dangly Catkin for a favourite sister or some coffee bean earrings for a Barista. It’s also worth knowing that commissions don’t necessarily cost more than items in the shop – it depends what you have in mind – so it’s always worth a no-strings chat.

All of my pieces are handmade with a lot of love and I take great pride in everything I make, and in seeing a smile on your face! I am a strong believer in hand-made meaning quality and also that because each piece is individually made by hand there sometimes may be irregularities on the surface reflecting the organic nature of the materials I work with , which creates truly one of a kind pieces.
I also know that occasionally things might go awry, and if you find that you have a problem with your item please contact me straight away so we can discuss how best to resolve the situation.
