Unique eco-silver and dichroic glass teardrop necklace

A handmade one of a kind eco-silver (recycled sterling silver) teardrop shaped pendant claw set with a teardrop shaped piece of mosaic dichroic glass. The pendant comes on an 18″ sterling silver chain and is presented in a gift box.
The tear drop measures 3.5cm long by 2.5cm wide at the widest point.
The pendant is not hallmarked as it weighs less than 7.78g.

We made this necklace by first creating a mosaic slab of dichroic glass by cutting and arranging glass shards before fusing them in our kiln. The glass slab was then cut into cabochons using a circular saw before fire polishing in the kiln. The eco-silver mount was then made using traditional silversmithing techniques.
