A solid Beech, apple shaped chopping board.  The boards measures approximately 210mm x 210mm and 20mm thick.  The chopping board is ideal for the smaller kitchen or for taking away on camping trips.  The boards have been coated with food safe oils and beeswax and can be easily maintained with more ‘board butter’ (available separately) or with, for example, cooking or olive oil, or similar.  Each board will be made to order by me in my Dorset workshop, hence a few days are required to make and send, but will then undoubtedly give many years good service.  Perfect as housewarming presents, or for the child on their way to university.  For interest the Beech tree was felled near Wareham in Dorset and milled by a family run sawmill near Sherborne.  Please note that orders received after Friday 13 December 2024, can’t be delivered until the New Year.

All wooden items in my shop are made from scratch and often involves a number of processes, such as glueing, finishing and oiling, each of which takes time and is subject to weather conditions. I specify 2 weeks as the usual order to delivery time and has proved to be mostly achievable, but if the weather is cold, wet and windy, or permutations of all 3, delivery may take a little longer.
