Introducing you to my latest handwoven cloth. A seaside theme inspired by the wild and beautiful landscape in which I live on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall UK
Since my last blog…’Meet the Maker’ I have set up a Youtube Channel…….
Exciting news from Buck Beck Bees in spring 2022.
Green shoots are appearing and there is definitely more kindness in the air. Not warm yet but clear and fresh and I’m longing to throw open the windows in our home to invite Spring inside. I enjoy curating our home decor to reflect the changing seasons. The hygge feeling needs replacing now with a more definite vibe to set off the daffodils and Spring flowers we all love to bring inside at this time of year.
Hi my name is Andrew, I am a cabinet maker and my love of wood started many years ago !!
Well tomorrow is a new year and that means new things being made.
I love the endless possibilities with the new little gift sets I have started to make, matching hair bows and clips too.
I am working on so many new ideas but thought I would start with these sets for little girls and then a few clip ideas for your little boys with long hair, after all they also need something to keep their hair out of their eyes.
I am so looking forward to showing you all my new items and if you think of an idea, well just get in touch and I will try to make it for you too.
I know we all love a bargain but I’ve made the decision this year to not offer any promotions or discounts on Black Friday. As I am a one woman business I can’t hope to compete with the deals that the big retailers offer.
This year it takes places on 4th December. It’s in its 9th year in the UK and is a grassroots campaign run by Small Is Big CIC, a community interest company that is not-for-profit, existing only to serve the interests of small businesses.
Last year it achieved record breaking success with 1.1 billion spent with small businesses in the UK on the day.
My wooden storage boxes come in lots of sizes and are wonderfully versatile and make amazing gifts for loved ones.

Time was with most of us, when Christmas Day, encircling all our limited world like a magic ring, left nothing out for us to miss or seek; bound together all our home enjoyments affections, and hopes; grouped everything and everyone round the Christmas fire, and make the little picture shining in our bright young eyes, complete. Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol”
