For A/W20 I have created a collection of decorated berets that combines my interests in fabric and design, regional textile history as well as the repurposing of fabrics. So for this blog post, I thought I would write a little about the design concept behind my new winter collection of wool felt berets that I finished with Lochcarron Scotland tartan handmade flowers and petersham bows.
Is sending Christmas cards a thing of the past or still part of your build up to the festive season?!
I have always enjoyed drawing and creating. It has been my hobby ever since I was old enough to hold a pen, drawing cards for my friends and family for all occasions. So my first blog post is just a little story of the roundabout way my little business came about.
Learn more about Thinking of You Week!
As I sit here today on the 11th September 2020 in a place which has changed imeasurably in such a short period of time!
We (my family and I) are surrounded by some of the things I have made and chosen to keep and enjoy for a while, before finally allowing them to go to their forever homes.
I wonder about the joy and pleasure these items may bring to the people who buy them, whether for themselves or as a gift for a friend or loved one.
Hey, thanks for checking out my blog! I’m Caroline. This introductory post is to expand on all things Re- Energize You and answer a few questions…
What is energy? Why do we need to re-Energize?
How can Energy Stones help me?
Essentially, we are all energy- from our thoughts to the sound of our heartbeat… the frequency is what denotes how well we are feeling. You’ve probably used such phrases as feeling low, or being on a high, what you are essentially talking about is what vibration you are resonating at. Maintaining a higher frequency keeps your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual body on point and ultimately is what we mean by optimum wellness.

What a strange year 2020 has been! Back in January myself and my colleague Keli were working flat out completing wedding stationery commissions ready for weddings happening this year and then the news about the outbreak in China started to seep through. By the beginning of February I said to Keli that we wouldn’t be taking any more orders now as I thought that most weddings were going to be cancelled.
So, at the beginning of March I shut all of my online shops as I wasn’t certain I’d be able to deliver anything as the postal services were likely to be reduced. After about 6 weeks I decided to open up just to simple orders than could be posted in a postbox.
Over the past few months I’ve had lots of time to work on gift ideas like note-cards, prints and notebooks and I’ve found they have kept me quite busy! I think perhaps people are sending more letters to each other or notes of thanks.
Though I will continue to make wedding stationery I’m going to concentrate on small letterbox gifts for the near future and that’s why I decided to open a shop with the British Craft House!
I hope you will support my shop and other small businesses adapting to the times!
