Shipping Policy

Coronavirus: during the current lockdown please be patient and allow a little extra time for your parcel to arrive.  The Royal Mail offers up to date guidance on their delivery service: https://www.royalmail.com/coronavirus

All purchases are wrapped in tissue paper and then securely packaged.  All items are usually ready for dispatch within 1-3 working days, unless there is a special announcement on my page. 

Items to the UK will be sent Royal Mail First Class.  Please allow 2-3 days postage time for your order to be delivered.

If your purchase is for a gift please ensure that you allow enough time for it to reach you.

International items Unfortunately The Wise Old Owl is unable to ship overseas.

Refund Policy

I would expect for your buying journey to be seamless, from your arrival at the website to your purchased goods arriving at your door.

In the extremely rare event of goods not being delivered, please let me know immediately through The British Craft House website.  If you have a tracking number then check this to see if your parcel has been delayed or lost by the Post Office.

Should there be an instance where you need to cancel the order, please do so within 24 hours of placing it and you can request a refund by using the ‘Ask a Question’ button in my shop.

Please note I am unable to accept returns for personalised items unless the item is faulty.

Please let me know of your intention to return an item within 14 days of receiving it and I will provide the necessary return details.   

Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless an item is faulty

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Return of faulty goods.

You have a right to return goods if they develop a fault up to six months after receipt of the goods. Depending upon the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or a full or partial refund. Please use the “contact” button in my shop to discuss. 

Lost items.

If the item has been posted but is lost in transit, you are entitled to a refund or re-delivery of the same item. Please use the “contact” button in my shop to report a lost item.

In the rare event of goods not being delivered please contact me for a refund.
