The Glass Woman
Marilyn’s passion for stained glass began many years ago during the late 1980’s after training at the London College of Building in Kennington, London.
Returning to the Hampshire countryside some 26 years ago Stained Glass Workshop (now The Glass Woman) was born from her studio in the Test Valley, creating beautiful and innovative traditional leaded panels; each a unique commission for clients.
Exploration of kiln fused glass methods has led her to evolve new design techniques also allowing fused glass to be incorporated into traditional leaded windows. Inspired by her colourful garden, the local countryside and the Hampshire seascapes. Glistening glass pieces being created by hand with love, care and attention to detail.
