Rose Grant Jewellery Design
Originally designed as a multi-functional collection of sculptural jewellery, inspired by curio objects and Victorian automata, vintage scientific equipment, astrology and astronomy, my collection now focuses more clearly on how circles surround us in many aspects of life, in outer space, our solar system and the planet we live on, as well as the meaning of the circle; eternity, infinity, strength, the sun etc.
Following my Jewellery Design degree, my main collection has lead in two directions; with a spin-off collection focusing on small scale hand-forged scrolls based on traditional wrought iron, for example from weather vanes and gates, and the leading collection (which has become more wearable and commercial) focusing on solar systems and outer space, forms and movement, with the strong use of circles and spheres.
