Welcome to Magwitchery Handmade Unique Silver and Gemstone Jewellery!
My name is Maggie Birchall and I am Magwitch.
I design and make unique jewellery in my tiny studio in rural Hertfordshire. I love to bring texture and colour into my work making extensive use of etching my own designs based on the organic forms in the nature that surrounds me. I delight in intense colours in the gemstones I use that remind me of stained glass, fruit jellies, oceans, planets, fairy lights and the magical shades of nature. Where my pieces use dichroic glass, the dichroic cabochons are also make by me.
I mainly work in silver and my pieces tend to have a boho meets neo gothic vibe incorporating a touch of the pre-Raphaelites along the way!
I welcome commissions if you have your own ideas/concept or if you would like a tweak to a piece you see in my shop – just message me and I am more than happy to talk it through.

All my pieces are designed and handmade by me and are hallmarked by the London Assay Office, incorporating my own makers mark.
