I aim to dispatch all items within the time frame given on the item and where I can, I will ship the item sooner. However, at busy times eg Christmas, Mother’s Day, I am likely to take the full time quoted.
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to this worldwide pandemic, postal services are still working with less staff causing delays and backlogs.
The timescales provided below for delivery are only estimates based on the standard 1st class service but 1st class can take up to a week or more currently.
All UK items are posted out within the quoted Shipping times (shown on purchase) by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For - Royal Mail are still signing on your behalf due to the pandemic/social distancing rules.

Tracked / Signed For doesn't speed up delivery but just gives you a means of seeing where your item is. Also, please be aware that some postal providers are not very efficient at updating the tracking information.

^this is the time Royal Mail estimate it will take for your item to arrive in the destination country and your postal providers' delivery times need to be added to this as well as customs checks if applicable (see below).
**In reality, this means
~ UK parcels can take up to a week
~ Europe takes an average 1-2 weeks
~ Worldwide - especially US/Canada - can take 2-4 weeks and on rare occasions 5-7 weeks!
Often this is due to how long a parcel is held in customs by the receiving country. Once it leaves me it is out of my control, I'm afraid.
**PLEASE NOTE - at busy times of the year eg Valentines, Mother's/Father's Day/Christmas these times can increase by at least a week or two due to the sheer number of parcels & letters in the postal system**
Buyers are responsible for all local charges and taxes. Those ordering from outside the UK may be subject to import duties, fees and taxes which are levied after the package reaches their country and these are the responsibility of the buyer.
I want my customers to be happy and return to my shop - therefore, in most cases, I will happily refund should we not be able to resolve any issues.
For personalised items no refunds or exchanges can be given. The EU Directive on Consumer Rights June 2014 does not apply to personalised/custom makes.
Should an item be faulty or damaged please contact me before returning it. I will try to sort out any problems as quickly as possible (complying with the EU's Directive on Consumer Rights 2014).
If your item is faulty, please contact me immediately. Please do not attempt your own repair - this cancels out any responsibility I have as the maker (and negates your consumer rights). I do not take responsibility nor make refunds for any items that have had repairs attempted on them.
I will gladly refund due to my errors - I'm not superhuman and, sometimes, errors occur - but I cannot be held responsible for customer error on personalised items and so, will not refund on these occasions.
REFUNDS DUE TO ITEMS NOT RECEIVED
Royal Mail do not consider an item of mail lost until
10 workings days has passed for UK deliveries
20 working days has passed for European deliveries and
25 working days has passed for all other deliveries (rest of world)
*working days are Mon-Fri only in the UK
This is the number of days AFTER the expected date of delivery (ie after the estimated delivery times in my Delivery policy.) Should an item not arrive within this time frame then I will consider it 'lost' and will refund. Please allow that amount of time stated before contacting me regarding a refund. I've had UK parcels take 3 weeks to get to their destination and US parcels sometimes longer (up to 6 weeks or more on occasions!!!)
Items not received in the UK should be reported within 30 days of item being sent or else claims cannot be considered.
For all overseas claims please leave the length of time quoted above.
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
I will gladly accept a cancellation prior to me starting your item. As most of my items are personalised, once I have started making the item, cancellation is no longer possible. If you can, please notify me within 24 hours of making the purchase should you wish to cancel.
For personalised items no returns or exchanges can be given unless the item is faulty or I made make an error. The EU Directive on Consumer Rights June 2014 does not apply to personalised/custom makes.
Under the EU Directive on Consumer Rights, you now have 14 days from receipt to change your mind and return the item. You need to return the item within 14 days of notifying me. Please note, you will receive a full refund of the original item and postage but you will be responsible for paying the return postage costs. This complies with the DCRs and they stipulate that all items must be returned.
Under the new regulations I have to offer a cancellation form for customers use - it is optional but regulations stipulate we have to have one available. If you require a cancellation form, please request one and I will email it to you.
**Please note that any returns from non-EU countries will be subject to custom charges unless the package is marked that it is "returned goods purchased from UK". The UKs import threshold is very low - £15/$21 and returns not marked clearly as advised will be subject to a charge approx £14 upwards. Should this happen on a return then anything I must pay to receive the item back will be excluded from the refund. Please be sure to mark your item as advised.
If you are seeking an exchange due to ordering the wrong size, please get in touch and we can try to work something out. Sometimes this can mean an extra charge is necessary for the replacement of materials. Please do get in touch to discuss the matter further.

Please ensure that the item is packaged well (if possible in the original packaging) and I do recommend you return using a Signed For method , so that if the item was lost by your postal provider on its return, you can complete an insurance claim to recoup its costs - I am not responsible for any loss during return.

Sterling Silver items under 7.78g in weight do not require hallmarking under the current rules. The current hallmarking details are shown on all my silver pieces. Currently, I do not offer any silver items that require hallmarking.
Items are made in a SMOKE-FREE home but NOT a pet-free home - please be aware of this if you are allergic to cat fur. My animals are not allowed near my creations but I would not be able to say 100% there are no pet traces as my animals have lived with me for a long time and pet hair unfortunately is easily transferred around the home.
