GDPR POLICY

I Gillian Smellie am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop Gillian Smellie Eco Print Textiles on The British Craft House.

When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address, telephone number and email address from The British Craft House in order to process your order. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order or to deal with any queries you have related to that order

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your The British Craft House order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:

• With The British Craft House to comply with my obligations.

• With mail delivery companies or couriers in order to fulfill your order.

• To comply with any legal or tax obligations that I have.

I will only retain your details for as long as necessary and in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time, I will delete your data from my records.

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data

Personalised orders can not be refunded unless faulty.

If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact me within 14 days.

Items must be returned unworn in their original condition within 30 days of delivery date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Personalised orders can not be cancelled/returned or exchanged unless faulty.

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your order please let me know as soon as possible. Items are usually sent within 3 working days of date of order. If I have not yet sent out the item I will arrange an immediate refund. If the item has already been sent out please return it unworn in its original packaging where possible within 14 days. You will be responsible for the return postage costs. I recommend Royal Mail First Class at least, or better still for your own protection, a tracking service. I will refund you on receipt of the item in its original condition.

Returns If you are unhappy with your purchase please let me know within 14 days all items must be returned unworn and in original condition within 30 days of delivery date. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item and I recommend you use at least Royal Mail First Class or preferably a tracking system. Please use the original packaging if possible. Make sure you include a note with the reason for reuturn along with your contact details.Returns address:- Gillian Smellie, Gillian Smellie Eco Print Textiles, Morley Farm, Brancepeth, County Durham, DH7 8DS. On reciept of your return in the appropriate condition I will process your refund directly via Stripe to the debit/credit card used to purchase the order.

Exchanges I cannot provide an exact exchange as each item is unique. However, if you would like to exchange one item for a similar one please contact me to discuss how I may help you.
