Fralgeto Glass

Hello, I’m Frances a solo glass fusing artist working from my garden studio in Epsom, Surrey. I love the time I spend there cutting up, assembling and layering coloured glass which, when fired in the kiln, takes on a new dimension. I am always excited to see what comes out of the kiln at the end of firing as the heating process can change the look and feel of the glass so it can be a surprise! All the glass has been created from sheet glass, crushed glass(frit), glass stringers or murrini. Then it is designed into shape or style and fired at high temperatures to form the finished piece with either a textured or smooth finish. I look forward to sharing it with you. You can be assured all Fralgeto Glass pieces are by necessity unique and hand made items made by myself.
