The two hearts are created using maps, around the edge are decorated with small sparkly silver gems.  With a silver charm compass.  Hand written the words, using a permanent black finer pen,

The pebbles I handicraft are created by using concrete, poured into silicone moulds to form the pebble shape. Every pebble is individually made.  Love and attention goes into each and every one. All are finished with a coat of gloss varnish.

Shipping Policy


SHIPPING POLICY

  • How quickly will my order be dispatched?

All items in stock will be sent within 7 working days.  Part from memorial stones which will be 1-2 weeks.

If I cannot dispatch your order within 7 working days, I will get in touch and let you know when it will be dispatched.

Please check individual listings for lead times on made to order designs.

  • What shipping method will you use to send my order?

If you think you may miss your postal delivery, I can post to a work or family address where someone is guaranteed to be in.

However, I can only post to the delivery address you provide in your order details, no alternative addresses can be accepted by email or any other form of correspondence.

UK Standard free delivery: 2nd class standard- small parcel will have a tracking number.

UK Express Shipping Upgrade: Royal Mail Special Delivery

For international orders, Royal Mail will be used.

I will send your tracking number when I confirm I have dispatched your order. You will be able to then track your order via the service provider.

  • How long will it take for my order to arrive after dispatch?

UK Standard Free Delivery: up to 2- 4 working days.

UK Express Shipping Upgrade: Royal Mail Special Delivery

Royal Mail aim to deliver this service by 1pm the next working day, excluding Saturdays.

International Postal Services can be notorious for customs delays. Unfortunately, there is nothing I, nor the postal delivery service providers, can do to avoid these potential delays. Please remember, I am not responsible for any delays to your delivery due to processing though customs.

From experience, I recommend anticipating delivery within 7-14 working days, however, this could be 21 working days around high traffic times of year (I’m thinking Christmas, specifically!)

  • Do I have to pay any customs or import taxes?

Potentially, I’m afraid so. I am not responsible for paying your taxes for you.

You are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. You should be able to get guidance from your domestic customs service as to what charges to expect.

  • Undeliverable Orders

If your order is returned to me because it is undeliverable due to an inaccurate shipping address provided by yourself, or if you don’t claim your package from the sorting centre, I cannot be held responsible.

Under these circumstances, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the package.

Should your order be returned to me undelivered and you do not wish to have the package re-shipped, I will cancel the order. I will also cancel the order if your parcel is returned to me undelivered and you do not respond to notification of this within 3 working days.

In both these instances, a refund will be issued for the value of the items ordered only. If you chose a shipping upgrade when you ordered, this upgrade will not be refunded as it is not standard postage.

  • I don't like what I've ordered / I've changed my mind, can I return my order?

Yes. Under UK law, you have the right to terminate the contract and return the item even if the item is not faulty in any way. You have the right to do this up to 14 days after receipt of the items.

If you wish to return an order, you MUST contact me before sending your package. This is a legal requirement, however, out of courtesy, I do ask that you let me know that you are returning your order. If I know I am awaiting a parcel at the reception of my studio building, I can keep an eye out for it and process your refund more swiftly.

If you wish to exchange an order, please do get in touch so I can make sure I have a suitable alternative in stock for you.

If you change your mind about your order before I have dispatched it, please do contact me by email to request a cancellation. I aim to dispatch in stock items with 1-3 working days, so please do let me know as soon as possible.

  • Where should I send the return to?

Your package will be sent with a return address label on it, but here is the address again:

  • What are the exceptions to the refund policy?

I regret that I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges on products that are personalised or customised in any way.

These items are exempt from these conditions under UK law.

  • Do I have to pay the cost of the delivery for returns?

Yes, I’m afraid you are responsible for this cost.

All returns must be in an a new conditon. Should any damage occur to package during its return, you will be responsible for any loss in value.

I also recommend getting proof of postage. This doesn’t have to be a tracked/signed for service unless you want that security or it is required by Royal Mail based on the insurance value of your order. Please do get a Certificate of Postage at the very minimum, as it could affect the timely processing of your refund.

Please note, I cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged returned goods that have not been correctly insured.

  • Will I be refunded for everything I have paid?

If your returned order has not been damaged due to insufficient packing during return, and does not show any signs of wear, you will receive a full refund for the cost of the item and the outgoing standard postage.

If you chose a shipping upgrade when you ordered, this upgrade will not be refunded as it is not standard postage.

  • When will I receive my refund?

Depending which happens first, I will issue your refund within 14 days of either receiving your return package, or, you providing evidence that the order has been returned (e.g. proof of postage or a tracking number).

  • What happens if the item I have ordered is faulty?
  •  However, should I have missed something, you have a right to return faulty goods. You can this up to six months after receipt of the goods.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund (full or partial), a repair or replacement.

You will be required to send photos of the item to allow me to assess which option is most appropriate.

  • What happens if my order doesn’t arrive?

If your order is lost in transit, I have to assume that the contract for your order is terminated. In these circumstances, I will provide either a replacement item, or if this not possible, a refund.

However, I am bound by the conditions of Royal Mail’s policy regarding lost packages. Royal Mail do not consider a package lost until the below timescales have passed:

UK 1st Class Signed For: 10 working days after due date

UK Royal Mail Special Delivery: 5 working days after due delivery date/time

Privacy policy

This privacy policy describe how and when I collect, use and share when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through The British Craft house website or it related sites and services.

This privacy policy does not apply to the thrid parties that I do not own or control.

Information I collect

To fulfil your order, you must provide me certain information [which you authorised  to provide me], such as name, email address, postal address, payment information and the details of the product that you are ordering. You may also provide me additional personal information for a custom order of a pebble, if you contact me directly.

I rely on a number of legal bases to coolect, use, and share your information, including:

* as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support.
*when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as signing up for my mailing list.
*if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law.
*as necessary for the purpose of my legimate interests, if those legimate interests are overridden by your rights or interests, such as, 1. providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legimate interest to improve my services.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

 I share information with The British Craft House as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the TheBritish Craft House Policy and term of use.
*Services providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as deliveries companies. I will share your personal with these third parties, but only to extent necessary to perform these services.
*Business transfers. If i sell or merge my business, I my disclose your information as part of transation, only to the extent permitted to the law.
*Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to a} respond to legal process or to goverment requests, b] enforce my agreements, terms and polices, c] prevent, investigate and address fraudand other illegal activity, security, or technical issues, or d] protects the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

I retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regualatory obligations, to revolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time periods, 4 years.

I may store and process your information throught third-party hosting services in the USK and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer personal information to a jurisdictions with different data protection and goverment surveillance laws and your jurisdictions. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the E.U, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certifield.

Your rights

If you reside in certain terrtories, including the E.U, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply gerenrally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. For example:

*Access. You have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using contact information below.
*Change, restrict,delete. You may also have the rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons.) I will genrally delete your peronally information on request.
*Object.You can object 1. my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests 2. recieving marketing messages from me after your express consent to recieve them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or it is needed for legal reasons.
*Complain.If you reside in the E.U and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
