The lavender bags featured here in my shop all have original embroidered designs, drawn and created entirely by me, Pauline Thomas from my GOLD Embroidered Collection. All my designs tell a story within their stitches as a form of textile art. I love to use the highlights of the metallic threads to suggest a three dimensional aspect to the animals that I embroider,  which has become the hall mark of what I do.

I often use an amazing rainbow voile fabric and rich metallic threads, so colours and beads may vary slightly from the photos, rarely are any two exactly the same so please expect some slight variations, which adds to their charm and collectability.

Great to display in a bowl, on cupboard door knobs and in your wardrobe to help deter moths and give off a relaxing scent.

Your order is posted Ist class Royal Mail to be delivered by your postman.

Please allow up to 5-10 working days for backordered items as indicated in your order when I am out of stock,  to be made specially for you and  dispatched. 

It should last many years, squeeze the pouch gently to refresh the fragrance and keep away from polished surfaces.

Dispatch times required may vary and are indicated in the listing shipping info, once dispatched, please allow time reasonable times in the post if you are wanting something delivered by a specific date especially outside of the UK.

As standard, my items are wrapped in a nice clear bag and closed with a label, then further wrapped in tissue, and mailed in strong recycled or recyclable packaging and sent by Royal Mail with customs labels as appropriate* for overseas shipping, to be delivered by your postman.

I cannot be held responsible for delivery delays after orders have been dispatched and left my hands, or when  incorrect or incomplete addresses are supplied by the buyer, nor for any customs delays or taxes. 

*Dried Lavender is a prohibited plant material for Australia and New Zealand and so would be confiscated at customs, so to get around this some of my listings have empty to fill yourself options as well, this is the thing to order, if you are looking to send or go to these countries even if it is in your luggage as a gift.   • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

In the unfortunate event that your order does not meet your expectations, buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. I will only accept returns within 14 days of receipt, unless proved faulty.

The buyer is responsible for returning the goods with the appropriate postage applied in the original packaging with labels intact, items unused and unworn, to the return address as indicated by me the seller. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Please clearly mark on the outside of the parcel 'RETURNS' ( to avoid any unwelcome customs charges that no one wants) Please also obtain a proof of posting from your post office.  

If you are unlucky to receive the goods clearly damaged on receipt, please send me photos of the packaging before opening further and also of any damage sustained on the contents as a result within 5 days of receipt, I can then place a claim with Royal Mail and set the ball rolling for an appropriate replacement or refund.

I cannot be held responsible for postal delays or hold ups in customs resulting in delays or additional charges, nor unreasonable expectations of worldwide delivery times by the buyer, once it has been dispatched and left my hands.

This lavender bag as a hanging decoration is the smallest one that I make and the HARE design one of the most popular. Fabulous to give as a gift, that is, if you can bear to give it away. Great to collect and display in a bowl, or hang up on a cupboard door knob, or on clothes hanger with your woollen garments, lavender is known to deter moths and smells and looks lovely too.

Filled with scented English Lavender. 11 cm  x 5.5 cm x 3 cm deep, Squeeze from time to time  to refresh the fragrance. Suitable as a Letterbox gift, add a message and delivery address of the recipient and just one of these will fit through a letterbox as a large letter to be delivered by the postman. 

Normally dispatched within 3 working days when in stock, but please allow up to 5-10 working days for back ordered items  to be made specially for you and  dispatched.
