Each card in my Heart range is an original cyanotype print, created using wildflowers gathered last summer from the hedgerows around my beautiful Wiltshire home, pressed and lovingly kept to be used as the subjects of cyanotypes.

The wildflowers I love to use are Oxeye Daisies, Umbelliferae and Wild Mallow.

I also use flowers from my own English country garden … Osteospermums; Black-eye Susans – those gorgeous, cultivated daisies that are little drops of sunshine; and Nigella – the aptly named love-in-a-mist.

I use recycled card, purchased from a small family firm in Brighton.

My cyanotype chemicals come from another small UK business.

This beautiful One-of-a-Kind cyanotype print Card with Daisies and Jardin Turquoise Ink is so much more than just a card … it is a work of art that your very special Someone can frame and keep forever. What better way to say, “I love you”, than with a unique Card?!

This card was created with a wild Oxeye Daisy from the hedgerows near my beautiful Wiltshire home and a Black-eye Susans from my garden.

I used my luscious Ferris Wheel Jardin Turquoise Ink and blue-dyed salt in the wet cyanotype process. I love the crystalising effects that I get, using rock salt during the wet cyanotype process. I also love the way the ink diffuses when I spray the water onto the print, there is something really magical about creating these wet cyanotype prints. Every one of them is totally unique, and I never quite know how they will turn out.
