Description
This pretty little pendant is ideal for someone who likes sparkly jewellery but not large pieces, as it is only 3cms (1.2ins) in diameter. I have made it by a process called beadweaving, by which the beads and crystals are sewn together using strong thread, not unlike fishing line. The central crystal in this piece is a light amethyst Swarovski rivoli, a beautiful faceted round stone with a pointed front and back which gives it depth and sparkle. I have surrounded this with matching 3mm Swarovski bicones, darker amethyst 4mm bicones, toning 4mm Czech glass pearly beads and tiny silver-lined crystal seed beads. The pendant hangs from a 46cms (18ins) sterling silver figaro chain which is finished with a bolt ring clasp. The figaro chain design consists of three small circular links followed by one elongated oval link.
The bracelet is based on a beading tutorial from Ellad2, an inspirational Serbian jewellery designer who allows products made from her patterns to be sold by the makers. She also allows, indeed encourages, makers to adapt her designs creatively. Therefore I have taken the central focal unit of her Marigold Bracelet for this pendant.
I will post your pendant to you wrapped in acid free tissue paper and in a sturdy cardboard postage box.
