We made this necklace by cutting and layering dichroic glass before fusing it in our kiln. After the first firing this necklace was reshaped before a final fire polish. We made the eco-silver (recycled silver) bail using traditional silversmithing techniques and it is attached to the glass using epoxy resin.
Dichroic glass appears different colours depending on the angle of the light hitting it and this pendant appears red / gold / orange.
The pendant measures approximately 1.5cm long by 1cm wide.
