A chunky sterling silver hand textured bangle.
This chunky bangle has been handcrafted from 2mm thick and 6mm wide rectangular wire. After cutting and filing the silver wire I have textured the silver using a texturing hammer – this gives the silver a hammered effect texture. The silver is then shaped and soldered into the bangle and polished to a high finish.
This bangle is oval and measures approximately 6.5cm across the widest part. A chunky piece, it weighs 23g and has been hallmarked by The Sheffield Assay Office, carrying my unique maker’s mark.
As all Ruth Smith Jewellery is individually handcrafted, slight variations may occur.
This bangle is ready to ship and shipping within the UK is included. The bangle will be presented in a white eco-friendly jewellery box and sent via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery.

Materials
I only work with quality materials. This bangle has been handcrafted from recycled sterling silver wire.
Hallmarking
UK regulations require any silver item over 7.78g to carry a hallmark. This is your assurance of the quality and authenticity of the materials used. I am registered with The Sheffield Assay Office, and where appropriate my pieces are hallmarked, carrying my unique maker’s mark. Taking Care of your Jewellery
I use sterling silver in my handcrafted jewellery. Sterling silver will tarnish (lose its shine) naturally over time. However, many modern-day products can accelerate this process. Please take care when using products such as hairspray, perfume, hand and body lotions and cleaning products and it is recommended you remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, or using a hot tub. It is advisable to store jewellery in a box when not being worn.
Packaging.
Your purchase will be presented in either a white eco-friendly jewellery box, or a white eco-friendly linen pouch.
Shipping
I currently only ship within the UK. I aim to despatch orders the next working day, but in any event all orders will be despatched within 1-3 workings days of the order date. Shipping within the UK is included, and this piece will be shipped via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery (by 1pm excluding weekends and bank holidays).

Shipping Policy
I currently only ship within the United Kingdom.
I aim to despatch orders the next working day, but in any event all orders will be despatched within 1 - 3 working days of the order date. If you require your purchase shipping sooner than 3 days, please advise me at time of ordering, or contact me at ruthsmithjewellery@gmail.com
Shipping is included for UK purchases and is via either Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery (by 1pm excluding weekends and bank holidays), or Royal Mail First Class Tracked, as per individual description. I will update the shipping status as soon as an item is despatched, advising a tracking number as appropriate.
Once despatched please be aware the arrival time of any order is out of my control & I am therefore unable to guarantee delivery dates. Please allow more time for delivery during busy times, e.g., Christmas.
Whilst I take great care in packaging your purchase, I cannot be held responsible for damaged packages during shipping. In the unlikely event that your purchase arrives damaged, please contact me immediately, providing a photograph of the damage, to arrange a repair, replacement, or refund (full or partial).
Cancellation
If you need to cancel your order please contact me as soon as possible, and before your purchase has been shipped, to enable me to process a refund. If your purchase has already been shipped, I will process the refund once the item has been returned, undamaged and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customers responsibility. I cannot be held responsible for any returned items being lost and would recommend using a tracked or signed for service, retaining your proof of postage in the event you need to make a claim with Royal Mail.

When you place an order from me through my British Craft House store, (TBCH) I will receive the following information from TBCH system in order that I can process your order:

Customer email
Customer username on TBCH
Recipients name (if applicable)

I will only use these details to process and deliver your order or to deal with any queries you may have related to that order. The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:

With mail delivery companies to fulfil your order
To comply with any legal or tax obligations that I have
I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed above.
I will only retain your details as long as necessary and in order to process the transaction. I will securely store (password protected) any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time, I will delete your data from my records. You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you and ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
Refund Policy
I take great care and pride in each and every piece of jewellery that I make, and customer satisfaction is extremely important to me. If there are any problems with a purchase, please do not hesitate to contact me straight away for the situation to be resolved.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund, or exchange, within 14 days of receipt. The item must be returned, unworn and in the original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customers responsibility unless the item is faulty. I cannot be held responsible for any returned items being lost and would recommend using a tracked or signed for service, retaining your proof of postage in the event you need to make a claim with Royal Mail.
Where an item is faulty return postage will be refunded.
Once the returned item has been received, I will process a refund within 48 hours.
Please note, earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, unless faulty.
