These cute little hairy gnomes are all quite individual.  With their tall hats and unruly hair growth they are truly cute little critters.  The gnomes come in a range of colours – please indicate your preference at the point of order.  They can happily sit on a shelf or can be used to brighten up a themed wreath.

These pieces are hand needle felted from sheep’s wool and sit approximately 10 cm tall.

Needlefelting is the process of felting wool using a special barbed needle.  As the needle is plunged into the wool, the barbs catch the wool fibres, pulling them into the centre of the piece, and matting or felting the fibres.  This technique can be used to create 3D sculptures and can also be used to create 2D wool ‘paintings’.
