Description
These round anodised aluminium dangle earrings are dyed a lovely sky blue that fades as it recedes. There is a honeycomb pattern towards the bottom made by pressing netting into the metal. The upper part of the earrings are a gold colour with a graphic style flower print. And the ear wires are made with sterling silver.
They are lightweight, easy to wear and will add a colour pop to your look.
All Ruby and Jack jewellery and sculpture is hand made by me from my workshop in Wiltshire. I make each item individually therefore there may be a slight variation in colour, print and size.
They measure 50 mm in length (dropping from the ear) and 25 mm in width, are lightweight, stylish and easy to wear and come in a grey Kraft gift box with a velvet insert.
Some information about anodised aluminium
Anosiding uses acid to create a corrosive and wear resistant layer on top of the metal. The anodic layer is left unsealed allowing the material to be dyed. The dyeing and patterning are my favourite part of the process as there are endless possibilities for colour, pattern, print and texture. This make anodised aluminum a hard wearing and lightweight material for jewellery making and sculpture.
