Sea Birds – Avocet applique cushion on natural linen or Lagoon Blue Cotton

Add a touch of the quirky  with this artisan raw edged appliqued cushion. Designed and handmade in Norfolk, using natural and repurposed textiles, and inspired by British countryside and coastline, this Avocet is appliqued using hand cut textiles and stands in a free motion embroidered landscape.

All my applique designs are made using repurposed textiles. As a result, the cushions are produced as one-offs or in small numbers and, whilst the overall design remains the same, the textiles each design is composed of will differ, so each cushion is a one -off, individual item.

Please note: The one in the photograph has sold and whilst the new ones are the same design, the textiles used may differ. I am happy to send photographs of those available

The cushion cover is made from pure natural linen and comes with a contrasting concealed zip at the bottom

The cushion is supplied with a UK made, ethically sourced, feather pad.
