Description
Materials and aftercare:
Mosaics are made are made by gluing ceramic tiles onto an acrylic base using silicone glue. The acrylic makes the whole item much more robust. The mosaic is then grouted with exterior grade grout, and the edges are treated as well. A metal rod is firmly embedded in the acrylic so you can stake them into the ground. The metal stalk is protected against rust with Hammerite paint.
The tiles can be cleaned if needed with a sponge ad mild fairy liquid. A microfibre cloth can be used to polish them.
