For this case I have used a stunning Purple and Black, Herringbone ‘Harris Tweed’ . The lining inside is a deep pile, black fleece. The fleece gives great protection for your glasses and also gives a lovely soft feel overall. A wonderful and very useful accessory which is not too bulky and would be perfect for the glove box in your car, a corner of your handbag or even on your coffee table in your living room!

The button on the front I have made from the branches from my beloved Apple tree that was sadly a casualty of one of our recent storms, it’s lovely to think it still lives on through my work and not going to waste. I have used bees wax to protect it which also brings out the lovely grains…..no two are the same! I have sewn, onto the front of the case, the HARRIS TWEED ‘ORB’ label which guarantees the authenticity and quality of the tweed which is only woven on the beautiful Isles of the Outer Hebrides. My personal label is sewn on to the back of the case.

The external measurements are approx. 18cm long x 8cm wide. (7″ x 3″)
