Description

Ratty here loves a picnic and the odd glass of wine warmed by the afternoon sun. And cheese. There has to be cheese.

Each of my sculptures are totally unique and I loved creating this little fella. He is created around a wire armature using core British wool is finished off with brown/ grey Falklands fleece brought back from a friend on an RAF posting. His bottle of wine is 1/12th dolls house size and the rest of his picnic I made from air clay.

Handcrafted using the needle felting technique of transforming wool into 3D sculptures. Each item develops it’s own little character as it takes shape. Sharp barbed needles are used to matt, condense and twist the raw carded wool fibres tightly together to create the shape which takes many hours and thousands of needle stabs!

Please note this is not a toy and is not suitable for children.

My Shipping Policy

Shipping is currently set for the UK only and I will do my best to post out the same or next day. With the exception of jewellery (*please see below), items will be sent via Royal Mail parcel post and packed securely in a gift box which is recyclable and biodegradable and then this will be further protected with re-purposed packaging. The environment is important to me and I will always try and recycle/ re-use outer packaging so whilst your parcel may not be brand new, your item will be wrapped beautifully and safely nestled inside. If you have any requests or concerns regarding this please do contact me. *Jewellery will be gift wrapped in paper and protected in a Jiffy bag or similar.
