Vintage moulds have been used to make this beautiful Ceramic Christmas Tree. Approx size 13” x 9” or 33cm x 23cm (not including the star topper which adds a further 4.5 cm to the height).

Earthenware Slip is poured into the moulds and when sufficiently set the mould is opened to reveal the clay Christmas Tree. After being ‘cleaned up’ More than 50 small holes are cut into the tree before it’s kiln fired to over 1000 degrees, transforming it to bisque (blank pottery).
The Tree is now decorated with selected colours and gloss sealant. Snowy tips are painted and lashings of iridescent glitter applied. Small, coloured acrylic twist lights are placed into the holes and the spring loaded electric light fitting is put in place with the LED bulb illuminating all the coloured twists.
This tree is perfect as a table centrepiece as the electric kit can be removed and replaced with a battery light. It’s perfect for Sales counter tops and window cills, small flats and bedsits, holiday accommodation or
