Description
A beautiful small Sea Urchin pendant on a sterling silver, adjustable diamond curb chain necklace or choose a 16 inch cable necklet choker instead for a more contemporary look.
The Pendant measures 20mm x 19mm and weighs 3.3g.
Sea urchins are a symbol of protection and fertility, they are known as the eggs of the sea.
The urchin is made from Fine Silver which is 99.9% pure silver, I use Precious Metal Clay using a mould made from the original urchin shell that I found on a beach in Australia.
The necklace chain is Sterling Silver and is adjustable from 40cm (16 inches) to 45cm (18 inches). The necklet is a twisted cable which measures 40cm (16 inches) which is a sophisticated more contemporary alternative to a traditional necklace.
All my jewellery comes in complimentary, black, branded, eco-friendly gift boxes tied with ribbon.
Care Instructions: All my jewellery is made from Fine Silver and Sterling Silver which by its very nature tarnishes over time. Silver jewellery stays bright and shiny if worn but can oxidise and tarnish when left so I recommend storing your jewellery in the box I send it in which has a special anti tarnish foam and I also put an anti tarnish strip in the box which should help delay the tarnishing process. If your jewellery does tarnish you can invest in a silver polishing cloth to keep it shining. I provide a silver polishing cloth free of charge for all orders over £75.00. Be careful with skincare products and perfume as this can cause tarnishing.
N.B. In accordance with British law, all silver items over 7.78 grams should be hallmarked. I only hallmark my pieces that weigh over 7.78 grams as it is an expensive process. My hallmarking is done at The Birmingham Assay Office, complete with my makers mark “DAY”. For more information on hallmarking please see The Assay Office Dealer’s Notice: Here
