Manorbier, lampwork glass pendant

£38.00

Named after a favourite beach in Pembrokeshire, this sea inspired glass bead was handmade by me in the flame.  Beautiful speckles in different colours have been encased  with clear glass, before being contrasted with  soft, pale green, and finished with an organic ‘wave’ twist.  The 24mm bead has been set simply with sterling silver findings, and presented on a 42cm / 18″ diamond cut ball chain sterling silver necklace.

This would make a lovely gift, and can be sent direct to the recipient if you prefer.

This striking bead has been handmade in the flame by in using a technique called lampwork (or flamework). It consists of flecks of glass in different colours that have been encased in clear, a pale green glass, and a final decoration of an organic line and twist design. The beads has been kiln annealed to ensure strength and durability before being set with sterling silver findings, and two sterling silver beads.

The lentil shaped focal bead measures 24mm in diameter and is approximately 13mm in thickness, resulting in a pendant that sits beautifully against the skin.  This bead was handmade by me in my Pembrokeshire studio, and has been carefully checked for quality.

The necklace is presented with a 42cm/18″ diamond cut ball chain in sterling silver, and supplied in a branded gift box which contains 76% recycled materials, and which is then recyclable should you choose.
