This piece of artwork is part of the ‘Pursuit of Self’ Collection, which consists of mixed media and photographic pieces.

At a time when I was struggling to manage my emotions, I turned to art. Something which I enjoyed as a child and always thought I would do as an adult but life had other plans for me. It wasn’t until lockdown took hold that I felt a struggle with my sense of self and purpose. So to help cope with the emotions taking hold, I decided to experiment.

The elements of the self are expressed through layering different mediums of acrylic paint, acrylic ink, gouache, recycled paper, and foil leaf, this piece of art represents how complex we are as individuals.

The canvas board measures: 30.5cm (12″) wide x 30.5cm (12″) high x 0.3cm (0.1″) deep.

The artwork is a one-of-a-kind piece and comes with a signed and embossed Certificate of Authenticity.
