Astrology Birth Chart Necklace in Blue
This necklace has been created in Swarovski dark blue glass pearl beads. Personalisation comes from it being created to depict the wearer’s birth chart. This is a celestial map of the zodiac on the day you were born. Each necklace is personalised for the day (time if known) and place of birth. The gemstone beads are spaced with tiny seed beads and interspersed with slightly larger coloured crystal beads – each one representing a different planet. Necklace is approx 78cms long. Because we are each born at a different time and at a different location, our birth chart is more unique to each of us than even our name.
Overall this necklace is approximately 79 cms long.
Is this like a horoscope?
A birth chart is simply a map of the zodiac. It is a map of the positions of the planets at a moment in time when viewed from a particular place on Earth. It makes no prediction and neither does it tell your fortune!
How does the necklace represent the birth chart?
Since a birth chart is circular it easily lends itself to becoming a necklace. The 360 degrees of the birth chart are represented by 120 dark blue glass pearl beads by Swarovski – one for every 3 degrees of the birth chart.
The planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) are represented by larger gemstone beads – each one chosen because it is believed to share some characteristic with the planet it represents.
The divisions between each of the 12 zodiac signs are shown by three seed beads.
The clasp is sited so as to allow the majority of the planet beads to be at the front part when worn.
The printed chart supplied with each necklace helps the wearer identify which is which.
The placings of the larger gemstone beads are determined by the positions of the planets at the moment in question. This means that in some necklaces they may be widely spaced apart whereas in others they may tend to cluster more together. Either way the result is an item of jewellery which, while appearing random to an observer, holds a special significance for those “in the know”.
Who might wear a birth chart necklace?
A mother might have a necklace made for the birth charts of each of her children and wear them together herself or give them to her children as gifts.
A birth chart necklace might be given to a bridesmaid as a thank you gift.
A birth chart necklace makes a lovely birthday gift especially for a milestone birthday. Alternatively it might be given just to congratulate someone on an achievement …
or just to make someone feel really special.
OTHER INFORMATION THAT COMES IN THE BOX
Each necklace comes in a presentation box along with a copy of the birth chart and information sheets so the wearer is able to identify the various parts of the necklace.
The recipient’s details are printed on the centre of the chart over an artistic representation of their zodiac Sun-sign.

Please note that occasional props shown in images are NOT included in the sale.
In order to draw up the birth chart chart showing the day or moment of birth of the recipient I need to know their date of birth and the place (nearest town). If a time of birth is available this can provide more accurate placement of the bead representing the Moon but this is not essential if not known.
Boxes are provided for the required information to be completed before checkout.
This is a personalised item made to order. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. If a necklace is required more urgently for a special occasion I may be able to deliver it sooner – please ask.
If, on receipt of an order, I am aware of any possible delay you will be notified immediately and given the option of cancelling the order.
ETHICAL SUPPLY OF LAPIS LAZULI
This necklace replaces that previously offered in Lapis Lazuli. Most of the world’s supply of Lapis Lazuli is from mines in Afghanistan. There are serious concerns about the ethical supply at this time and as I am unable to source a supply from a known acceptable source I will not be offering items containing this gemstone once my current supplies (bought long ago) are exhausted.
