Description
When making your Mum’s diorama, the pieces of wood I use will be cut to size by hand and shaped with my band saw. I will then sand and paint with a yellow emulsion in readiness for the design. I will then cut a piece of pine strip wood and paint with a white wax which will then be glued to the main block. The little house is also made from a small piece of stripwood which is shaped on my band saw and then painted with acrylic paint and a tiny pin hammered in for the chimney. The wire tree is shaped by hand by me and then a hole drilled ready for the photo holder to be glued. Finally both of these pieces are glued to the top. Finally the wording that has been printed on kraft card is adhered to the front of the smaller white block to finish the design.
Suitable for indoor use only
