Inspiration for my range of silhouette based artwork comes from shapes in the scenery & objects I photograph. The silhouettes, painted on the inside of the glass, cast shadows & give an impression of movement when ambient lighting changes or you move around a room, creating an intriguing & interesting sense of 3D in a 2D picture. Hand painting each silhouette allows me to selectively depict a key structural influence from either within the photograph or from the surrounding area. In this picture the black frame extends the richness of the tree silhouettes beyond the glass while the deep grey mount adds further contrast to the snow covered yellow bus & snowy mountains in the distance. An original & interesting piece of artwork; perfect for any occasion or “just because”.
Black, white or natural frames available. Picture can be wall hung or placed on a shelf or windowsill with support. Individually hand painted silhouette therefore your finished picture will vary slightly to the image shown. Shipment typically within 5 working days.

I aim process & dispatch all in stock order items within 1- 3 days working days, items made to order may take 3-5 working days to process & dispatch.
All items will be wrapped securely to protect the product in transit however should any issues occur during transportation please contact me.
Gift wrap: If selected, I use new recycled brown craft paper as gift wrap with decorative seasonal ribbon or string.
Gift tag: If selected, a small gift tag with your personal message to the recipient (50 characters maximum please), will be attached to the item.
Please note that I try to be as green as possible and reuse boxes/packaging where possible - packaging reused during the COVID-19 pandemic will be stored for a minimum of 7days before reuse to ensure COVID-19 safety compliance.

Refunds will be made by the original payment method once the returned item has been received and checked that it is in its original condition for re-sale.

Personalised orders can not be cancelled/returned or exchanged unless faulty.
Can I cancel or I return my order? In either instance please contact me as soon as possible via email: [email protected]
Cancellation: If an order is cancelled before dispatch (usually 1-3 working days) you will receive a full refund to the original payment method.
Return: Returns must be sent by First Class Royal Mail within 14 working days & be received in new, resalable condition. A full refund for the cost of the item will be made to the original payment method however you will be responsible for any loss in value should damage occur during return transit. Unfortunately outgoing postage will not be refunded.
Do I have to pay the cost of the returns delivery? Yes, you are responsible for this cost.
Undeliverable Orders Orders returned to me as "undeliverable" due to an inaccurate or an incomplete delivery address provided by yourself will incur additional costs to re-post. Similarly, if a package is returned as "unclaimed" from the Royal Mail sorting centre you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the package to yourself.
In either instance above I will notify you of the returned package. If you do not wish to have the package re-shipped I will cancel the order, I will also cancel the order if you do not respond within 3 working days. In both these instances, a refund will be issued to the original payment method for the value of the items ordered only, postage can not be refunded.

* I share information with The British Craft House as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the The British Craft House Policy and term of use.

*Object. You can object 1. my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests 2. receiving marketing messages from me after your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or it is needed for legal reasons.
