I work directly from a photo so this embroidery is based from an actual view of Broad haven beach. The image is from the view of the rocks to the left side of the beach. 

If you wish to change the frame after time, the embroidery has been finished in a way that it could be easily transferred into another frame. I have stretched it  over a foam board which can be easily moved as it is not fixed to the frame and the embroidery would not be damaged if it is transferred.  

If you like my work but would like a different view, I take commissions. Please message me to arrange this and send me a photo of the view you would like me to work from.

I aim to send your purchases within 1-3 days, however if you have ordered a pet portrait please allow 21 days for making time. This will start from the day I receive the photo of your pet.

All items will be delivered by Royal mail first class. Items that are over £20.00 will be signed for and a tracking number will be available after they have been posted.

In the event that your items did not arrive at all after 10 days after the due date. It will be assumed that it has been lost in the post.  Please inform me of this and i will arrange a possible replacement or refund. As my products are one of a kind I very rarely have an exact copy available.

I will ensure that your item is packaged to a high standard, but if it does arrive damaged please provide me with a photo of the damage and I will discuss with you what the next course of action.

The only problem with an exchange is that the majority of my work is one of a kind and there are no complete reproductions. Therefore you might have to exchange your item with a different type of work.

Hand embroidered framed wall art of rolling waves at Broad haven beach.

Beautifully hand embroidered wall art of the rolling waves at Broad haven beach, Pembrokeshire. Image size is 30 x 40 cm.

This piece of textile art has been beautifully made using scraps of fabric chosen to represent the sky, the rocks, the sea and the shoreline. This gives the basic foundation of the piece. I have then chosen suitable embroidery stitches to represent the details. These include chain stitch for the froth of the waves rolling on to the shoreline, satin stitch for the shadows of the rocks, tiny french knots for the spray from the waves and a woven circle for the small shells and pebbles on the shore. I have finished the piece with a neat backing lining of natural calico fabric. This provides a backing to hide the messy stitches which occur at the back of any piece of embroidery. Then I have framed my work with a wood veneer frame with glass front. The total size when framed is 55 x 46 x 3.5 cm.
