This is a luxurious Guinea Fowl Feather Leather Journal, Hand Bound in  Silver Grey Italian Leather.  The Hand-cut Cover is Lined with a stunning Guinea Fowl Feather paper.

Five signatures (booklets) are bound to the cover with a traditional Irish Linen book binding thread. The closure is a Dark Grey Elastic Loop, easily pulled over the Journal.  There is a very handy Ribbon Page Marker

A6 portrait size, approximately 11.5cm x 15.5cm x 2.5cm, ideal as a general notebook or sketchbook, perfect size for carrying in a bag.

Filled with 160 pages of 130gsm Cartridge Paper,ideal for writing or drawing

The Journal lies completely flat when open for use, making it so easy to fill every page.   This Journal is refillable, a kit can be purchased separately.

All Journals are parcelled and wrapped in new tissue paper, and recycled packaging or brown paper.

Leather is a natural material and marks, creases etc are an inherent part of the fabric and add to the look of these books.

I use old Atlas’, vintage Ordnance Survey maps and Road Atlas to produce Map Journals. These maps are not new, they have had a previous life, and may well have marks, and folds in the case of ordnance survey and road maps etc. This adds to the charm of the finished journal. I would not use any map that I would not accept myself to keep my standards very high.

Shipping Policy

Despatch of your order will be within 3 to 5 working days of receipt of payment for stock items.  For custom orders delivery time will be confirmed at point of order.  I will message you when your order has been sent.

All items are posted second class signed for unless otherwise requested.  Should you require a different service, a different price will of course apply.

For majority of made to order items, please allow 10 working days after receipt of payment for despatch.  I will of course always try to accommodate any special requests etc, by arrangement.  And will always endeavour to improve upon 10 working days!

Important:  For last posting date for Christmas delivery, please contact me as soon as possible so I can check and confirm with you.
