I chose a wool mix for this throw to give it a lighter feel for nights when you still might need an extra layer.
The yarn is a lovely mixture of grey shades
Although the throw includes some Shetland wool it is primarily woven with a wool/acrylic mix manufactured in Europe.
Whilst hand washing is recommended I have washed this myself in a machine on a quick, gentle wash at 30 degrees. Be aware if you choose to machine wash there may be a little shrinkage.

I’ve woven this grey and blue striped throw blanket in a larger size.
Measuring 200cm x 115cm (78 in x 45 in) it looks super stylish thrown over the back of your sofa and is big enough for a warming layer on top of the bed.
The wool and acrylic mix in these yarns make the throw lighter and softer than a 100% wool throw.
