This cute and quirky little necklace features a tiny honey bee crawling on a honeycomb textured, hexagonal charm.

The bee pendant is pure 99.9% solid silver, handcrafted from precious metal clay, and measures 12mm (approximately 1/2 inch) wide. It hangs from one of my own wire wrapped sterling silver pendant bails on a dainty sterling silver chain (choose from 2 different lengths).

This cute, quirky little honey bee necklace is handmade by me using eco-friendly silver clay (see below for more information about silver clay).

The clay is textured and cut to shape and the little bee securely attached. It is then sanded to perfection, drilled and kiln fired, before being barrel polished in a tumbler to a high shine. The pendant is then suspended from a dainty sterling silver chain using a handmade wire wrapped pendant bail. You can choose either a 16 inch or an 18 inch chain.

WHAT IS FINE SILVER/SILVER CLAY?

Fine silver is made from precious metal silver clay, which looks and feels like regular sculpting clay but contains fine particles of pure silver mixed with a non-toxic organic binder. It is eco-friendly since the silver particles are recycled silver reclaimed from medical, scientific and communications equipment.

Once the clay is fired in the kiln, the binder burns away leaving a fine silver piece which is 99.9% pure silver (compared to sterling silver which is only 92.5% pure silver, the remainder being mainly copper).

Fine silver contains no other metals. It is tarnish resistant and, due to its purity, it is less likely to cause any reactions on the skin.

Fine silver pieces can be hallmarked at the Assay Office if they weigh more than 7.78 grams. Since my jewellery pieces are below this weight, I choose not to have them hallmarked.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me or otherwise use my services through thebritishcrafthouse.co.uk ("TBCH") or its related sites and services.

Information I Collect

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised TBCH to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information and the details of the product that you’re ordering. Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

• TBCH. I share information with TBCH as necessary to provide you with my services and to comply with my obligations under both the TBCH Seller Policy and TBCH Terms of Use.

• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies (i.e. Royal Mail and/or UPS). I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Data Retention

The GDPR (2018) requires me to disclose the period of time during which I will store personal information.

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 6 years (this is a requirement of Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) in the UK).

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

GDPR (2018) requires me to disclose whether I transfer personal information outside of the EU and the legal bases I rely upon in order to do so, such as consent and contractual necessity.

The only circumstance in which I would transfer personal information out of the European Union would be for delivery purposes through trustworthy services such as the Royal Mail or UPS or similar postal services.

Any other information will only be held by TBCH itself and for that purpose you should refer to their Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

• Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.

• Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of or delete your personal information. Apart from in case of exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons), I will generally delete your personal information upon request.

(b) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them.

In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
