Dark fordite pendant
This elongated fordite pendant is particularly moody featuring a piece of fordite which is mostly black with swirls of white, red, dark grey and blue. The fordite is bezel set in sterling silver and finished with a simple loop bail which could easily fit a ribbon or leather thong rather than the silver chain it comes with. The colour palette and elongated bullet shape make this piece particularly unisex and a great gift for any car lover. Measures approx 53mm inc bail by 11mm wide, it comes with a sterling silver snake chain in a gift box (if you would prefer a black leather cord then drop me a message)

This fordite pendant is particularly dark and mysterious featuring a highly polished piece of fordite which is mostly black with swirls of white, red, dark grey and blue. The fordite has an elongated triangular shape which is smoothly bezel set in sterling silver and finished with a simple but generously sized bail. The colour palette and freeform shape make this piece particularly unisex and a great gift for any car lover. Measures approx 53mm inc bail by 11mm wide, it comes with a sterling silver snake chain in a gift box but if you would prefer a black leather cord instead then drop me a message.
Fordite is the name given to the baked build up of paint that formed in the old style spray booths at car factories. As fashions changed so did the colours in fordite and by comparing to paint charts it is possible to work out the factory that fordite has come from. I believe that this material came from a General Motors factory in the last 10 years – the limited colour palette makes it difficult to pin point exactly when. As painting techniques have improved less fordite is being formed and material is becoming harder to find. I cut a lot of my fordite myself so if you love the idea of it but want something else making then drop me a message.
I aim to ship as quickly as possible normally within 24 hours. For the UK I use either tracked 24 or special delivery which should arrive the next working day whilst for international orders I used international tracked or signed services. International post is subject to delays at the moment, sometimes lengthy due to customs, but since it is tracked you can follow its progress around the world. Buyers are responsible for any customs fees but if you contact me in advance I can help you work out how much these will be.
I am happy to ship gifts direct to the recipient with a message so they know who its from but you will need to specify the recipients address at checkout. I will only ship to the address specified during checkout.

I'm more than happy to refund an order if it turns out to just not be to your liking. Please let me know within 14 days of receiving it and return it within 30 days (you will need to pay the return postage and I strongly recommend using an insured service in case it goes missing). I will refund when the item is back with me and I've checked that it is in its original condition.
Personalised orders can not be refunded unless faulty.
