A Beautiful and One of a Kind Custom Leather Map Journal or Sketchbook, Hand Bound to Your exact requirements. 

Choose from over 20 Leather Colours

Two maps can be included in the covers of the Journal, one in the front, one in the back.  I have a huge selection of OS Maps, Road Maps etc for UK locations and Atlas for Worldwide destinations. 

Maps can also be placed throughout the Journal as pages.  For this I would suggest 5 Map Pages. 

A Pocket made from an Index Page of an Atlas can be included in the back of the Journal.  Great for storing items which you later want to stick into your Journal or to keep information safe whilst travelling. 

The Spine can be expanded if you are going to stick items such as photographs, tickets or use washi tape in your Journal.  Doing this will mean the Journal will not go out of shape so much once full.

A6 Journals are Bound with 160 pages of 130gsm Cartridge Paper.  But A5 Journals can be bound with 130gsm Cartridge Paper (great for Sketching and Writing), 100gsm Dotted Paper or 100gsm Lined Paper.  If you require more or less pages this can be discussed too!   

The closure of the Journal can be either; a narrow ribbon or cord, wrapped twice around the Journal and finished with a Wooden Bead; or an Elastic Loop, which is very practical if you are planning on using your Journal whilst travelling. 

I include one Ribbon Page Marker in Journals (not usually sketchbooks) as standard, but if you would like more of these, that can be done too!

My Journals lie completely flat when open for use, making it so easy to fill every page.   Most Journals are also Refillable should you wish to use it as a general note book; a kit can be purchased separately.

All Journals are parcelled and wrapped in new tissue paper, and recycled packaging or brown paper.

I can Gift Wrap your Journal, write a Gift Tag and send directly to your recipient if you would like me to.

Shipping Policy

Despatch of your order will be within 3 to 5 working days of receipt of payment for stock items.  For custom orders delivery time will be confirmed at point of order.  I will message you when your order has been sent.

All items are posted second class signed for unless otherwise requested.  Should you require a different service, a different price will of course apply.

For majority of made to order items, please allow 10 working days after receipt of payment for despatch.  I will of course always try to accommodate any special requests etc, by arrangement.  And will always endeavour to improve upon 10 working days!

Important:  For last posting date for Christmas delivery, please contact me as soon as possible so I can check and confirm with you.

I use old Atlas', vintage Ordnance Survey maps and Road Atlas to produce Map Journals.  These maps are not new, they have had a previous life, and may well have marks, and folds in the case of ordnance survey and road maps etc.  This adds to the charm of the finished journal.  I would not use any map that I would not accept myself and keep my standards very high.

To protect the environment where I can I use recycled packaging, but please be assured that items will be packed well.

A choice of sizes;

A5 Landscape or Portrait Journal, size approximately 16cm x 22cm x 2.5cm (6.3 x 8.5 x 1 inch, Half Letter in US).

A6 Landscape or Portrait Journal, size approximately 15cm x 10.5cm x 2.5cm (5.9 x 4.1 x 1 inch, Quarter Letter in US)

You can choose every element of your Journal; 

Leather Colour,  Maps you would like included (UK and Worldwide) and Closure type. You can also have pockets, an Expanded Spine if you wish to add inclusions into your Journal.  Even paper type for A5P Journals!  I LOVE making these Journals and am open to any suggestions you may have.  

Refill kits are also available for my Journals.
