This lovely oblong cushion/pillow cover started life over 100 hundred years ago as a patchwork quilt. The traditional pattern is called log-cabin and is made up of squares. The quilt wasn’t complete so I washed it (twice!) and thought it would make great cushions!
This one – and there are others in my shop, all different – is oblong with six squares. It measures 48cm (18”) by 28cm (11”) and is backed with thick French ticking fabric in navy blue stripe. The cushion is envelope style so easy to insert a standard 18”x12” inner.
There are other cushion covers In different shapes and colours made from the same quilt in my shop so please have a look.
