Description
Be Earth-friendly with a handmade soap sack. A simple way to use a solid bar of soap in your shower instead of plastic bottles of shower gel.
I have made these soap sacks using a soft cotton yarn which is machine washable.
Cotton is a natural fibre which is sustainable, renewable and biodegradable.
The finished sack is quite stretchy and will take most shop bought and handmade soap sizes. To use just wet thoroughly, lather up then you are good to go, the bumpy sack will help with exfoliation too. The sack cord is perfect to hang your soap up during and after showering
A sack is also a good way to collect those small pieces of leftover soap to use when full either for showering or washing those delicate handwash only items.
Caring for your soap sack:
- Before using please rinse the sack thoroughly in hot water to get rid of any impurities also to prevent colour seepage into your soap.
- Soap maybe left in the sack hanging in the shower to dry. but it is advisable, if possible, to remove the soap after use, rinse the sack and leave both to dry.
- Machine wash the empty sack occasionally in a warm 30degC wash, do not tumble dry.
A copy of these care instructions will be included included with your soap sack.
This is a perfect small gift but why not add a bar of handmade soap to complete the picture.
NB. Any soap shown in photographs is purely for demonstration purposes and is not included in the purchase price of this item.
