Cornish tin mine engine house remains are a common sight all over Cornwall but none look finer than those that have the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop and this is my interpretation of one such iconic ruin. This unique piece is set inside a 24cm square (12cm aperture) glazed box frame that is all ready to hang on your wall.
Frame available in grey or white.
This tin mine is made from pieces of stone but the passing tall ship is rigged with sails made from sail shaped pieces of sea pottery – crockery discarded into the ocean where, over time, its jagged edges become beautifully shaped and smoothed – perfect for making my ship’s sails.
