This handbag is made using the incredibly beautiful, natural and sustainable cork leather. It has dark orange zips and a lovely elephant print lining. Cork is a high quality fabric from Portugal produced from thin cork shavings obtained directly from the bark of the cork oak tree.
Cork fabric is:
Soft to the touch
Easily cleaned and long lasting
Hypoallergenic, anti-fungal, waterproof and stain resistant
Dust, dirt, and grease repellent
Environmentally and ecologically friendly
These bags measure approximately 23 x 15 x6cm and are a perfect size for a smaller day bag or evening bag.
The outer is made from Portugese cork, the lining from good quality cotton and the bag closes with a YKK zip with a leather pull tag. There is a large pocket on the front of the bag. There is a brown leather 1/4″ strap approx 135 cm long. This can be swapped for a cork strap if you wish.
The straps are detachable so if you like the bag and would like another, either in cork or Harris Tweed, you can buy a second bag at a lower price without the strap – please message me for a price.
