Description
I’ve made this notebook using traditional bookbinding methods. The inner dotted grid style paper block is made by cutting and folding the paper into signatures and then hand stitching them into a book block. This is lightly glued down the spine, headbands and ribbon markers are attached and it’s left to dry overnight. The outer board is then covered in fabric and attached to the book block together with the coloured end pages and the envelope pocket.
The fabric on this particular notebook is a Rose & Hubble cotton fabric called Bees-Meadow, designed by Helen Nevett in a lovely mint green. The end pages and expandable envelope pocket are mint green and I’ve added mint green and black satin ribbon markers.
Pages: 46 double-sided sheets of white 104gsm dotted grid paper. The dots are pale grey and the dot distance is 4.25mm.
Size: A5 – width 15.5cm x height 22cm Spine depth 1.5cm
I’ve tried to represent the colours as accurately as I can but please remember that monitors, tablets and other devices do vary.
