2 matching handmade silver Cardita clam shell pendants on adjustable sterling silver necklace chains.

The clam shell are made from Fine Silver which is 99.9% pure silver and a recycled material.

The shells measure 18mm (0.7 inches) x 12mm (0.5 inches) in size and weighs approximately 2.5g.

The chains are Sterling Silver and are adjustable from 40cm (16 inches) in length to 45cm (18 inches).

Clam shells are symbols of love and friendship so this pair of little clam shells will keep 2 best friends, Mother and daughter, soul sisters and around BFF’s close together even when they are separated.

I use Silver Metal Clay to make the shells. I use a mould I made from the original pair of clam shells that I found on a beach in Australia.

All my jewellery comes in a complimentary, eco friendly, black, branded gift box tied with pretty ribbon.

Care Instructions: All my jewellery is made from Fine Silver and Sterling Silver which by its very nature tarnishes over time. Silver jewellery stays bright and shiny if worn but can oxidise and tarnish when left so I recommend storing your jewellery in the box I send it in which has a special anti tarnish foam and I also put an anti tarnish strip in the box which should help delay the tarnishing process. If your jewellery does tarnish you can invest in a silver polishing cloth to keep it shining. I provide a silver polishing cloth free of charge for all orders over £75.00. Be careful with skincare products and perfume as this can cause tarnishing.

N.B. In accordance with British law, all silver items over 7.78 grams should be hallmarked. I only hallmark my pieces that weigh over 7.78 grams as it is an expensive process. My hallmarking is done at The Birmingham Assay Office, complete with my makers mark “DAY”. For more information on hallmarking please see The Assay Office Dealer’s Notice:  Here

The time I need to prepare an order for dispatch varies. For details, see individual items.
If I have an item already made and in stock I endeavour to dispatch with 1 to 2 working days.
Customised and personalised items will take me longer to make. I will advise each customer at the time of ordering on my lead-times, if you would like more information please contact me and we can discuss options and time frames.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
