Art in felt and stitch-Loch Tay Secret Beach Seascape

This peice is my interpretation of a small secluded beach on the banks of Loch Tay, Scotland. Small but detailed, I use fine wool, silks and flax to first create the background, using wet felting methods, then I ‘draw’ with my sewing machine. The whole process takes upwards of 4 hours for a 6″ x6″ square. 

This comes mounted, backed and wrapped, ready for a 8″ x8″ square frame.
