Description
This is my interpretation of a tree in Winter. Its branches are bare, bereft of all its leaves except for the odd seed leaf here and there and covered with a layer of fresh snow on their tops. The trunk has snow blown all up one side, sticking to the bark and the ground is covered with snow drifts, all on a day of greying skies.
This is an original painting (not a print) and is signed in the bottom right corner. I have used professional grade watercolour paints and archival ink pens on acid free, cold pressed watercolour paper.
It is mounted within an Antique White coloured, acid free mount and includes a backing board so it comes ready to frame and will fit in any readily available frames you can buy from various high street retailers. The overall size inc. mount is 9″ x 7″. I have attached a business label to the back of the mount and have signed my full signature above this. (signature not shown on photo)
The inspiration for my tree drawings and paintings come from a very old, large Apple tree that once had centre stage in our garden. It gave us much pleasure to see it change through the seasons but sadly it became a casualty of a storm a couple of years ago so I like to think I am keeping it alive through my imagination.
The painting will be placed into a cellophane sleeve and posted in either a corrugated cardboard envelope or a box to ensure its safety in transit. Post is via Royal Mail 1st Class services at no extra charge.
You will receive the original art shown, all other items are for display only. Colours may vary slightly due to different screen resolutions.
