Shipping times are set by the individual seller and will vary depending upon the product and are specified in the postage section for each item. This is the period within which the seller will post your item. Actual delivery time may vary depending on the method of posting. Please contact your seller directly if you have any shipping questions.

Contacting the seller: Use the ‘Ask a question’ button on the shop’s profile page. 

When your item has been posted your seller should update the shipping status of the order, and you will receive an automated email telling you it’s on its way. Often the seller will also drop you a message to update you about your order.

If you have ordered products from multiple shops on TBCH, then each item will be dispatched separately, meaning that you may receive your orders on different days in separate packages.

Missing orders

Please check the stated time to make and dispatch, plus delivery time from the shop that you ordered from. 

Please note that personalised, bespoke and made-to-order products can take up to 30 days to make.

If you haven’t received your item after a few days please contact the seller (please allow longer for international orders). If you do not hear from the seller within 7 days, please contact TBCH admin. 


In the rare event of a shop not delivering the goods, we recommend that you cancel the order and request a refund from the seller. If the seller is unresponsive please contact your bank if you paid by card. 

Please make sure you report the seller to TBCH too via [email protected], so that we can take action.

UK delivery of standard products

The Seller will state what method is used for Shipping so please refer to this as to how long your item will take to be delivered.

International Delivery

International delivery is available on many products, and is displayed on the product page.  Please note that if your order is posted outside of the UK that you or the recipent will be resonsible for ensuring that customs/VAT/Handling charge is paid. This is not the resonsibility of the seller.

The British Craft House is a marketplace and as such when you buy on TBCH, the sales contract is between each individual “seller" and “you", the buyer. TBCH provides a service to facilitate that contract but is not responsible for it or its fulfillment.

International Orders 

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Return of faulty goods.

You have a right to return goods if they develop a fault up to six months after receipt of the goods. Depending upon the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or a full or partial refund. Please contact the seller via the “contact” button in their shop to discuss. 

Lost items.

If the item has been posted but is lost in transit, the seller should provide a refund or re-deliver the same item. Please contact the Seller via the “contact” button in their shop to report a lost item.

In the rare event of a shop not delivering the goods please contact them for a refund.

If you have not heard from the seller within a few days of contacting them, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help! Our email is [email protected]

If they do not respond in a reasonable time scale, you should claim for a refund from your Credit Card provider.
